Rugby Club Eindhoven operates entirely on volunteers. For all our activities we need help; of course the trainers and team managers, but also the referees, committee members, board members and someone who occasionally stands behind the bar.
Thanks to all these volunteers, we can keep the contributions low at RCE and there is a place for everyone in our beautiful club, which is why we often call on our senior players and the parents of our youth members.
But besides the 'duty' that you have to help keep Rugby Club Eindhoven running, there are fortunately many more reasons to contribute as a volunteer!
For example, it gives a lot of satisfaction to organize a nice activity or to receive respect and thanks from both teams after you have refereed a match.
In addition, you can also develop yourself by taking on a role that you normally do not fulfill or that lies outside your comfort zone. For example, take a coordinating role in a committee or go out to get sponsors; especially if you normally prefer to stay in the background...
In this way a win-win situation arises: The club is helped, the members are happy and you yourself become a little better! Great, isn't it?!
Below you can find a 'role description' of almost all roles within RCE. If you would like to mean something to the club, take a look through it calmly and see if there is anything that appeals to you. The roles that we want to fill in the short term are listed separately under 'Vacancies'.
